** Senator Blunt and Congresswoman Wagner Bring Big Victories to Missouri
------------------------------------------------------------

Earlier this week the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced that Missouri will receive $60.9 million through ReConnect Pilot Program to expand rural broadband. Senator Blunt has been a longtime advocate for Missouri's rural communities that are in need of access to broadband. More than 8,300 households and 12 educational facilities will benefit from this investment into Missouri.

“This investment will help strengthen economies and improve the quality of life in rural areas across the state,” said Blunt. “Bringing high-speed internet to rural areas will help students succeed in the classroom, enhance economic opportunities for farmers and businesses, and improve health care in underserved communities. The investment announced today marks another important step toward ending the digital divide that has left about one-third of rural Missourians without access to broadband. I’ll continue working with local, state, and federal officials to ensure every community has access to high-speed internet.”

Additionally, as we are in remembrance of the Holocaust this week, Congresswoman Wagner helped to secure a $750,000 challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for renovating the St. Louis Holocaust Museum.

“The $750,000 National Endowment for the Humanities challenge grant is one of the largest ever awarded in the State of Missouri. This will be critical in renovating the St. Louis Holocaust Museum & Learning Center and expanding its footprint in St. Louis so even more Missourians and visitors from all over can study and learn from the brutality of the Holocaust,” said Congresswoman Ann Wagner, R-Ballwin. “I am proud to have supported the Federation when they applied for this federal grant and am grateful for all they do for our community.”

It is increasingly important every day that we continue to elect good people to public office such as Senator Blunt and Congresswoman Wagner who are willing to go to Washington to fight for all Missourians day-in and day-out. Since Democrats have perpetrated a bogus witch hunt and sham impeachment, it is even more important than ever that we send Congresswoman Wagner back to Washington, D.C. We need her there not only to continue to fight for Missourians, but also to support our President and make sure the Democrats cannot impeach him in his SECOND Term!
