Hi Friend,

Last week, a federal judge in Texas issued a ruling that threatens access to mifepristone, a widely used and safe medication abortion that has been used by over 5 million people for nearly 23 years. This is a purely ideologically driven decision that could lead to a ban of this highly effective and sought after medication.

Earlier this week, the 5th Circuit Court issued a ruling making mifepristone temporarily available again, but with onerous restrictions in place. And earlier this evening, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito issued a temporary administrative stay of the Texas ruling, keeping mifepristone available and approved--for now. But the fate of mifepristone's availability is still unknown as the case continues to move through the courts.

Join us, along with supporters of other organizations committed to reproductive freedom, in signing a People's Brief to let our courts know that judges should be guided by the law and science, not their extremist beliefs, when issuing decisions about reproductive health.

Together, let's stand against extreme right judges imposing their will on people across the country.

Sincerely,

Rebecca
