Hey, it's Tracy, the Campaign Manager for Schools & Communities First!
I'll be quick ...
Two weeks ago, our campaign finance team shared with you that we needed to raise $10,000 from grassroots donors like you before the end of January for us to have the necessary resources to talk to voters across the state.
The good news is that we have had small dollar grassroots donations come streaming in for our campaign since then, but we are still about $2,000 short of our goal and have until MIDNIGHT to reach our targets.
That's why I'm reaching out to you as a grassroots supporter, will you make a quick contribution before our midnight deadline?

Your support for Schools & Communities First is more important now than ever before.
That's because those who benefit from the status quo keep supporting shady, deceitful social media campaigns on sites like Facebook and Nextdoor to spread misinformation about our campaign. We need to fight back!
So I'll ask one last time, can I count on you to help us fight back against these lies before our midnight fundraising deadline?

The Schools & Communities First initiative reclaims $12 billion every year for California’s schools and local communities by closing commercial property tax loopholes benefiting a fraction of corporations and wealthy investors. The initiative benefits residents and small businesses by exempting homeowners and renters from any changes while implementing new tax relief for small businesses.
Paid for by Schools and Communities First - Sponsored by a Coalition of Social Justice Organizations Representing Families and Students. Committee major funding from:
California Teachers Association
Chan Zuckerberg Advocacy (Nonprofit (501(c)(4))
SEIU California State Council (Nonprofit (501(c)(5))
