Repeat after us: If you aren’t there for yourself, you can’t be fully there for your family. Yeah, yeah. You’ve likely heard this a million times, but it bears repeating. Parenthood requires you to balance so many things. Kids. Marriage. Career. Friends. Extended family. House. If you’re not devoting at least some time to your mental health every day, you risk burning out or just being…not there when you want to be there. So, it makes sense to have a multifaceted line of defense against the many stressors of life.
