1776 Club
Rollout Begins

“The name of American, which belongs to you, in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of Patriotism.”

~ George Washington

The KSGOP leadership team, led by Chairman Mike Brown and Executive Director Dakotah Parshall, rolled out the brand new “1776 Club” ([link removed]) on Thursday, April 13, 2023. The reception was immediate and welcoming.

When sending this newsletter, nearly fifty Kansas Republicans had signed up in about 30 hours and were on their way to receiving their personalized card and other exciting benefits.

The 76ers ([link removed]) , as it's already become nicknamed, was the original idea of two Kansas Republicans, Steve Shute and Dakotah Parshall. Both of these important KSGOP players arrived at the same idea at about the same time and brought it to Chairman Brown on the same evening. Their ideas about what it should and could be varied slightly but broadly it was the same concept. Both independently had the same vision of what it should look like. With continued push to get it rolling from KSGOP Treasurer, Alan Townsend, and Chairman Brown, the 76ers ([link removed]) program was moved to priority status.

Chairman Brown could see the personal passion in this idea and melded the visions with his ideas of how to best create and market the 76ers ([link removed]) program.

What you see now is the fruit of these great ideas and hard work along with some negotiating and cajoling by Chairman Brown with WinRed to get the final details worked out.

Your KSGOP Leadership Team is excited about this affordable and fun way for many to support KSGOP efforts to get local republican candidates elected this year to school boards, city councils, and other local elected seats across Kansas.

This is part of the strategy to energize and build out our full team for next year in 2024 as we defend our three Republican-held Congressional District seats and take back KS CD-3.

With your help as a 76er ([link removed]) , winning is just around the corner!

Please share this program with your friends, neighbors, county & community Republican clubs, and your children and grandchildren! ([link removed])

KSGOP Vice Chairwoman

What kind of Republican Party do Kansans want? Specifically, what kind of Republican Party do Kansas Republicans want? That is the question we want to explore with you over the next weeks and months.

There has been a lot of talk on social media sites about the grassroots conservatives versus what has come to be styled the GOPe, or the establishment GOP. I am going to suggest that question is not helpful. Labeling one another is not helpful.

What is helpful? Listening to one another – so we can build a party from the ground up that reflects the values and beliefs of Kansas Republicans. So we can build a winning party.

We are going to begin by inviting interested, passionate Republicans to join Zoom calls on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Bring your energy, bring your optimism, bring your dedication, and bring your ideas. Let’s work together to create the reddest Kansas ever and to do our part to protect traditional American values one state at a time.

To preregister for our first Zoom call on April 27, please use this link ([link removed]) . The Zoom will open at 8:00 PM CST for “social time.” From 8:30 – 9:30 PM, we will discuss the topic of the night. Sometimes we will have guests. Sometimes it will just be a topical discussion among friends. The topic for April 27? What are the most critical issues facing Kansans today? The answers to these and other questions will guide future meetings.

KSGOP Facebook page shadow-banned by Meta

It became clear on Thursday April 13 the KSGOP Facebook page had been “shadow-banned”. This term means only a very small group of people can see the content on a given page. While the RNC Communications teamwork worked to figure this problem out, the KSGOP team discovered someone on the Facebook management side had checked a box so the KSGOP page could not be viewed in the USA. When this box was unchecked, the page and it’s content became viewable once again.

Shadow-banning is 100% a matter of free speech and that someone seripticiously changed settings on our page, a page which was in no way violating their terms of service, is wholly unacceptable and the KSGOP deserves an explanation and a written apology for this particularly egregious act.

As a matter of standard operating procedure, there are only a few ways for a person to be blocked by KSGOP on our Facebook page: profanity, threats of any kind and pervasive verbal abuse. I have authorized staff to ban ANYONE who crosses these lines. We are fully prepared to defend our ideals and values in the arena of ideas and are not the least bit concerned about those who may disagree with us as Kansas Republicans however, this disagreement must be done professionally. Verbal abuse will not be tolerated.

If you would prefer to mail your donation, please send a check to KSGOP and include your
