We’ve now learned that our government has been lying to us about deploying our military to Ukraine.

Just a year ago, President Biden pledged not to send US troops to Ukraine – and he himself said that it would be “World War III” if we did:

“The idea that we’re going to send in offensive equipment and have planes and tanks and trains going in with American pilots and American crews, just understand, that’s called World War III, okay? Let’s get it straight here, guys. We will not fight the third world war in Ukraine.”

But now we know that US and NATO personnel have been deployed to Ukraine, confirmed in the leak caused by the incredibly irresponsible and reckless handling of our national security secrets.

What we need now are members of Congress who can bring oversight and accountability to the defense and intelligence community, and that’s what I can deliver.
