Mayor Bruce Harrell's One Seattle Newsletter

*Dear friends and neighbors,*

Yesterday, I announced that volunteer registration is now open [ [link removed] ] for the "One Seattle Day of Service" which will be held on *Saturday, May 20.*

With over 3,000 volunteer slots open for 110 events around the city, this event is a chance for neighbors to come together, roll up their sleeves, and play a part in creating a better Seattle.

I believe that we can accomplish more when we work together, and this event?is an opportunity to put our shared values of cooperation, inclusion, and unity into real action to drive tangible improvements for the place we love and call home.

This year, we are partnering with over 100 organizations ? from non-profits, to neighborhood groups, to sports teams ? to lead community events around the city. Volunteer opportunities include cleaning and beautification, gardening and restoration, and helping neighbors in need.

I hope to see you at the "Day of Service" on Saturday, May 20.

Thank you,

Bruce signature
