Last year, Texas had its closest governor’s race in a generation. We elected a whole new wave of smart, diverse, young candidates in down-ballot races.

And next year, we have a chance to replace one of the most dangerous, unlikable politicians in America - Ted Cruz.

The only thing that determines what comes next is how we respond.

Boot Texas Republicans is re-launching this spring to focus exclusively on a new strategy to elect Democrats statewide in Texas, because we believe it’s possible to make history - with your help.

We’ve built a powerful network that helped make the closest statewide elections in years. We raised a total of $370,625, and deployed those funds to support key candidates and causes across the state of Texas.

That included supporting the re-elected Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, who won a narrow race against a wealthy, well-connected Republican who massively outspent her. We also invested in organizations that are building the foundation of a new way of doing politics in Texas.

And online we reached millions of people via Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook - shaping the story of this election and how we can make Texas a better place for all of us.

Losing hard-fought races to the Republicans who want to take our rights and wreck our state hurts. We won’t shy away from that. But this isn’t over.
