- Nationally, Democrats are on the defense in 23 states across the country. Republicans must only defend 11.
- Mitch McConnell just needs to flip two seats to take back control of the Senate. Democrats cannot leave anything to chance.
- There are warning signs for Democrats in New York — the GOP just had their best cycle in decades, flipping enough districts to retake the House.
- Now, the GOP is already attacking Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) in an effort to build on their momentum and retake the Senate.
- With so many races, Democratic resources will be stretched thin — meaning every single fundraising goal is critical.
