Dear John,
Tune in to Fox 32 Chicago at 6 p.m. tonight when PAWS pets take center stage in Chicagoland, a new television special celebrating stories about people, places, and things that make Chicago so unique and special.

The show details much of the history of PAWS Chicago, and founder Paula Fasseas' vision for ending homeless pet euthanasia. In the special, PAWS Chicago is profiled as a national leader in the No Kill movement and a model for other cities to save homeless animals.

In 1997, the year PAWS Chicago was founded, more than 42,000 dogs and cats were euthanized in Chicago. Thanks to the tireless work of tens of thousands of volunteers, adopters, fosters, animal lovers, supporters, and the entire Chicago community, the euthanasia rate of homeless pets in Chicago has dropped 92.5 percent in just over 25 years.

Please tune in to Chicagoland on Fox 32 Chicago today at 6 p.m. or this Saturday, April 15 at 1 p.m. and 10 pm., or Sunday, April 16 at 3 p.m. and 10:35 p.m. and celebrate the incredible work our PAWS Chicago community has done.
