Missouri Democrat Nicole Galloway Facing Investigation For Playing Politics On The Taxpayer Dime
What Happened:
Missouri State Auditor and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Nicole Galloway is being investigated for allegedly using her taxpayer-funded office to target a Republican senator.
Why You Should Care:
If Galloway is willing to use this office to go after a political opponent, what will she do if she’s elected governor?
What Happens Next:
The House Oversight Committee said in a letter that if the allegations are true, they "would constitute an extreme breach in the confidence the people of Missouri" place in the office of auditor. Only time will tell!

What Happened:
A bombshell report in New Jersey appears to put Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy in a corner when it comes to his past statements about allegations of sexual misconduct on his 2017 campaign.
Why You Should Care:
It appears that one of the four women making the allegations against the Murphy campaign has "black and white" evidence that directly contradicts the governor’s claim that no one on his campaign sought to silence women from speaking out. As Tom Moran at the Star-Ledger wrote, "Murphy has said, over and over, that women who worked on his campaign are free to talk… But Roginsky revealed an email showing that is simply not true."

: For now, it seems that Gov. Murphy is continuing to double down on his previous false statements...
