Abortion access is on the line — which is why Tina has teamed up with 20 governors around the country.

Tina for Oregon

John,

Tina recently joined 20 other governors to form the Reproductive Freedom Alliance — a historic, nonpartisan coalition committed to protecting and expanding reproductive freedom across the nation.

In the months since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, our country has seen an unprecedented attack on abortion rights from conservative judges, legislatures, and activist groups. Oregonians have fought hard to have some of the strongest protections for reproductive rights in the country — but we now know that even the rights we consider most fundamental are always at risk.

The governors who make up this alliance represent over 170 million Americans collectively who can breathe easier knowing their elected officials have their back.

A federal judge in Texas just ruled in favor of removing FDA approval from mifepristone, one step of the two-pill medication abortion method — the most common form of abortion in the United States.

Tina believes this is a shameful, dangerous ruling that will prevent patients nationwide from accessing safe and effective medication.

The Governor wants Oregonians to know that abortion is still accessible and legal in our state. Tina believes in reproductive freedom and will continue to be a fierce advocate for that right. Her administration will work with the Oregon Health Authority, the Oregon Department of Justice, and the Biden Administration to evaluate the ruling and fight for patients across Oregon and the United States.

But the consequences of this ruling could be far-reaching. This ruling shows just how important it is for governors around the country to work together in the effort to protect abortion. Everything is on the line, and we can accomplish more when we fight together.

Can you add your name to stand with Tina against this dangerous ruling and show your support for reproductive freedom in Oregon and across our country?
