For the seventy years following the Allied victory in World War II, America has stood as a beacon of freedom and hope throughout the world.

The era of Pax Americana was an unprecedented time of peace and prosperity for the West and the world. The peaceful defeat of the communist Soviet Union was emblematic of American strength. And when the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, millions of people could experience freedom as the last tyrannical superpower fell.

American self-government and economic freedom has arguably improved the lives of more people worldwide than any other system in history.

In 1950 over 60% of people were living in extreme poverty. By 2015 it was less than 10%. Global literacy and average life-span increased with America’s ascendancy. Human dignity and individual rights were championed.

By the standards of individual liberty and prosperity, the world is better off with America as a superpower.

But a new superpower is emerging: China.

Join us today(4/5/23) at 6 pm Eastern for a live stream debate as our experts explore how China’s “peaceful rise” has challenged Western supremacy and what this means for global leaders today.

You'll gain valuable insights into why some believe Beijing is leading to a "twilight of Western civilization" — and how America should respond to continue promoting prosperity and freedom.
