Every day that goes by gives me more hope for what we can achieve together. And that’s hard to come by in politics, especially as we look back on the dark path we’ve been forced down by right-wing extremists who are committed to eroding democracy and maintaining their power.

What gives me hope is our resilience. We haven't gone quietly — we’ve been fighting day in and day out to protect our freedoms and live our values. Issues like protecting reproductive rights, the environment, and marriage equality, opening access to affordable health care, and ending the scourge of gun violence — we’re in the thick of it right now.

If you ever need a reason to get up again and continue the fight, just look at the 2020 and 2022 elections for validation. For hope. It’s why I won’t stop fighting until we’ve guaranteed that all Virginians have access to good-paying jobs and affordable health care — until we’ve protected voting rights and secured reproductive freedom for everyone.

And right now, we can set ourselves up for success, bolster our resilience, and ensure we keep our Senate majority by showing up again. So I have to ask one more time, will you donate any amount towards our $70,000 grassroots fundraising goal before tonight’s deadline?
