Josh decided to run for office in 2018 when Trump and Republicans were trying to take healthcare away from millions of people, including Josh’s brother.

From day one, Josh knew that if he ran for office against a sitting Republican Congressman, corporate interests would spend millions of dollars to protect the status quo. So Josh decided to run his campaign a different way: by refusing to take a single dime of corporate PAC money.

Today, Josh is still one of the few members of Congress who made this pledge and actually sticks to it. This means he actually represents us, and isn’t influenced by dark money.

That’s why he’s been able to introduce legislation like his landmark climate change bill and his bill to ban corporate PACs altogether.

But the truth is, a lot of other campaigns are probably asking you for money right now when they don’t hold themselves to this same standard. It’s incredibly frustrating when there are campaigns like ours who actually need your support - because it’s the lifeblood of our campaign.
