Yesterday, anti-abortion extremists in the NC General Assembly filed a bill to totally ban abortion in our state. We are thankful that our Featured Candidates are champions for reproductive rights and will fight back against this bill and others like it.

While we are unsure of this bill's fate, we know more bills that restrict abortion will definitely be filed. Want to fight back against this harmful legislation? We still have space in our Abortion Activist Training this Saturday, April 1 at 1pm in Raleigh.

This training will be led by national expert Destiny Lopez. Destiny is a respected executive leader, facilitator, and strategist with two decades of experience of working at the intersections of policy advocacy, communications, coalition building and reproductive justice.

We will also be joined by Lynne Walter from Pro-Choice NC. Lynne is a loud and proud social worker, community organizer, and activist. She has been fighting to protect reproductive rights, justice, and abortion access since she trained to be a clinic escort when she was 14-years-old, and she loves working with students, community members, and partner organizations in order to ensure equitable access to full reproductive health and justice.
