I’m just about to update our campaign team on our latest FEC deadline fundraising numbers. I know Betty reached out a couple of times this month, so I wanted to keep you in the loop.
As it stands right now, we’re still trailing our first FEC public deadline goal of the year by $18,432, which means we’re going to have to make an all-hands-on-deck effort over the next 36 hours to climb back and reach our target.
It’s going to be close, but with your help, I know we can do this. Will you stand with Betty and pitch in $10, $25, $50 (or whatever works for you) to help reach our end-of-quarter goal before our fundraising numbers go public?
As Trump’s House GOP apostles pander to the most extreme elements of the GOP base, attack reproductive freedom and LGBTQ+ Americans while protecting assault weapons and election deniers, remember this: Kevin McCarthy barely got his majority across the finish line.
House Democrats are holding the line, and we can absolutely retake our majority in 2024 – but only if we start building right now.
Taking back the U.S. House means putting committee gavels back in the hands of Democrats like Betty again. It means investing in America’s future and making our families stronger. It means getting back to responsible governing and moving our country forward.
All of this and more is within our reach, but we have to stay focused. And right now, that means digging deep and reaching our target before our first FEC public deadline of the year on Friday.
